Twinplast packaging can be produced in an infinite variety of configurations for product protection during delivery and storage. Packaging can be flexo or screen printed, laminated, and chamfered for additional protection. Available in a wide range of colours for identification and display.
Lamination: We can laminate Twinplast board during the extrusion process with a number of substrates supplied by either ourselves or Free Issue by our customers.
- NON WOVEN CLOTH can be laminated on one or both sides and then be die cut. It is often used for box making for the automobile industry where highly polished or fragile finishes have to be protected from damage.
- FOAM is used where it is required to minimise shocks or vibrations or movement during transport. The foam can be produced in many colours and options including antistatic and conductive.
- SELF REFLECTING and ALUMINIUM can also be laminated to customers' requirements.
Chamfered Edges: We have also developed technology to chamfer the edges of our board. This serves three purposes:
- Prevents injury to operators when placing parts in one of our boxes
- Seals the edges against ingress of moisture
- Protects the parts when they are loaded into the packaging
In addition, we can produce packaging with flexoprinting or screenprinting for identification purposes. Customers can choose from a range of label holders, handhold protectors and tote box handles. Velcro fixings and engineered foams can also be added.
Reinforced edges can be produced in plastic or aluminium to enable packaging to be 100% recycled at the end of its useful life.
