|Corona||A crisp, clear surface for accurate reproduction and brilliant full colour. Necessary when boards are to be printed, glued or laminated. Corona treated 48 dyne/cm on both sides of the board during the extrusion process.
Please see below for printing options.
|Anti-Static||Boards are naturally non-abrasive treated to prevent fibre and dust build up. This may be necessary to prevent build-up of static electricity or to reduce its effect, which can damage electrical components such as computer hard drives and even ignite flammable liquids and gases.|
|Flame Retardant||Necessary treatment that recognises the superior passive fire protection properties. Flame retardant products must be printed.
Using our on line printing system, boards can be printed with the relevant certification, certification number and your customer’s logo printed in exact colours.
Any construction project valued at 2.5 million and over should use flame retardant site protection to comply with insurance policy; failure to comply with the “Joint Code of Practice” could invalidate your insurance.
A necessary treatment for specific application such as exhibitions where signage should not significantly add to the fire risk.
|UV/Weathering||A necessary treatment in extending outdoor life and performance. Assuming normal weather conditions in the UK, stabilised boards can last from 2 to 5 years.|
