TWINPLAST WIN TOP ENVIRONMENTAL STANDARD

Twinplast, the Watford-based manufacturers of plastic corrugated packaging products, have been awarded the international environmental BS EN ISO 14001 standard.

Regarded as the leading standard on environmental management systems, ISO 14001 sharpens competitive edge by functioning as a visible demonstration of a commitment to implementing and maintaining sound environmental policies.

The overall emphasis is on continual improvement of environmental performance and management practice which also encompasses training, communication, documentation, emergency preparedness and response, and management review.

With the packaging industry undergoing enormous change due to the far-reaching implications of environmental legislation, Twinplast has been at the forefront of the development of environmentally sensitive products. Of particular note is their extremely cost-effective (and ultimately totally recyclable) Twinplast Transits multi-trip packaging for the protection and transportation of a hugely diverse range of products from car components to cabbages.
